The soups they had at Publix did NOT match the soup schedule posted above aforementioned soups. I had no intent to buy soup, but it still irked me.

here is the soup schedule for reference, directly above said soups. As you can see, it is incongruent with the available soups.

i really want frijoles de la olla, but i don't know if i could make that with the ingredients we have. i've also been wanting to make a red lentil soup from turkey that only uses a few ingredients, i could try that

hmmmm, i want to make half of the recipe i have, but i would hate using only half of a potato, but if i used the full recipe i would have to cut another half of an onion which means i wouldn't be getting rid of leftovers in the crisper drawer. i guess i'll check to see if we still have a carrot and that will decide whether i make it or not

just cut the potat In half lengthwise, use top half for soup and hollow out bottom half to make a potato bowl to pour the soup over!

could i substitute the potato for rice? it's just meant to thicken the soup and make it more creamy, and rice is also used to do that in bisque soups. also we have a bit of leftover rice which would be nice to get out of the refrigerator

i really like the fact that chili with beans is available any given day of the week. Rest of schedule is just filler for days when you don't feel like eating chili

i'm sorry for using this thread as my food blog, but i can't decide whether to make bread today. it would be a lot of work and i don't want to have to clean flour out from under my nails. i wonder if my parents would mind if i used their electric mixer
