well just think for a second, if he wasn't a sexless incel would he be making all these "comics" where he just rages at every group that does better in life than him?

Serious question: say there was a surgery that allowed for a complete anatomically whole sex change, would you do it, or are you happy with your current body and just HRT?
anonymous No.12371983 [Report] >>12371993
>>12371979
i wouldn't want that
Anonymous No.12371993 [Report] >>12372013 >>12372052
>>12371983
So you're happy with your current body and HRT?

I'm asking because I was thinking: "what if there was a true sex change procedure", and would there be anyone that doesn't identify as their birth sex (I know this isn't exactly accurate) that for some reason wouldn't have the operation and if so, what is their ideal solution for their dysmorphia. (Straight white male here, so take into consideration that I might not be "in the know")

What does this 'toss mean, what is the political consequences of what he's saying? Is the west doomed to be gay? So many questions not enough answers

mhm, i'm nonbinary so i don't have the same goals in term of presentation that a binary trans woman might (inb4 'go to >>>/lgbt/' i'm just answering anones questions and now i'll stop talking about it)

So is HRT your "ideal" life bodywise?

i've had ffs and i'd like to get an orchiectomy, but i doubt i'll ever have the money for that

orchiectomy because of hormone secretion, aesthetic, or both?

unfortunately we live in a time where everything is a spectrum and it’s up to your own perception to decide if it’s truly set in stone and black or white

hormones, there's a procedure where just the testes are removed and replaced with little silicone lumps that mimic the feel and aesthetic of regular nakey bits. the goal is that it would be unnoticeable that they're fake
Anonymous No.12372077 [Report] >>12372164
>>12372052
Truthfully, I don't care what people do to themselves. I do think some of the procedures on offer right now are downright primitive and barbaric.
I was just thinking what would the ideal set of procedures look like and it occurred to me that a significant part of the population interested in such procedures might not be interested in a full sex change.
I'm talking about those who truly need it, not those simply interested in experimenting.

That is completely unnecessary and also your plastic surgeon is lying to you by saying it will be unnoticeable.

Your fortune: Excellent Luck
Anonymous No.12372164 [Report] >>12372181
>>12372077
the ideal set of procedures would be a mental case. The world loves selling people short, or is it just human nature to never be satisfied. And let’s not pretend the modern common doctor doesn’t see you as just another paycheck.
Do people who supposedly need it want acceptance from themselves or others

It’s all bullshit you can’t convince me it’s not some sort of twisted experiment anyways
Anonymous No.12372181 [Report] >>12372230

I've thought about that too.

Say you have someone with gender dysphoria. Now technically it's all their heads since it's literally a mismatch between their minds and bodies.

Ok, now say there is magical pill, that realigns their minds and bodies. Since it changes the mind relatively drastically, are they still the same person, is it not like eliminating their previous self in favour of something new.

Now, you still have continuity of mind, so my last point is definitely debatable.

At the end of the day, the important thing about a treatment is that people are willing to accept it.

Hell, if I put a bullet through someone's brain he'll no longer have any problems.

>dysphoria
well it’s all just labels, what about a furry who thinks they’re a wolf
>pill
Drug addiction is a thing too, for me it’s benzos, I dose myself with it, everything is all and well but that only lasts so long until I have to inevitably redose while chasing that impermanent high
>same person
Give it enough time, all your cells will regenerate/be replaced anyways, it depends on what side you see the paradox on
>continuity
If that’s what you believe in, sure
>accept it
how else will you cope
>bullet
Sure

What's this supposed to mean, there is no doubt to the continuity of mental states.

>Pill
I was talking about a kinda one and done, just as a hypothetical

>well it’s all just labels, what about a furry who thinks they’re a wolf
I was referring mostly to gender dysphoria.

This isn't an argument for or against the existence or validity of gender dysphoria, just a thought experiment: if technology wasn't an issue, and under the assumption that gender dysphoria exists, how would treatments look like?
anonymous No.12372265 [Report]
>>12372240
my answer to that hypothetical would be the ability to effectively shape-shift at will. if we're imagining some time billions of years in the future where technology is basically indistinguishable from magic, i think what the average trans person would want is complete autonomy over the way they look and sound
