is there really no way for you to know why audio won't work? maybe try opening an audio file with mpv from terminal and see if there's any errors popping up, or start any other program that has audio from the terminal and see if it complains about missing libraries or whatnot
if all else fails try reinstalling pipewire or pulseaudio or whatever else you use
