Youmu is my favorite Touhou and I really love her in TH17 Wily Beast and Weakest Creature. There are 3 different animal spirit options to select at game start that change her attack type and also her personality.
The wolf spirit gives her a strong close range focused attack and makes her barbaric.
The eagle spirit strengthens her basic unfocused attack and makes her haughty.
The otter spirit gives her a super powerful bomb and makes her wishy-washy.
My favorite is Youmu Wolf because I love her sword attacks and also the first time you meet Youmu in Perfect Cherry Blossom she's ferocious so I think the barbaric personality is fitting. But Youmu Otter is also fitting because she's scatterbrained. I cleared the extra stage with both of them.
