I got the distinct impression everyone kind of hates him for his insight but also respects him for that same thing. It's like how no one likes be under the microscope but value what it provides regardless. He's really tactless and lacks social graces which is probably why no one expected him to slip that bombshell in at the end but it's the way I see him.

I just watched Superman premiere and I'm happy to say I enjoyed it very much.
I've always enjoyed DC comic books more than marvel but it took them this long to make a film I liked.
