I think this world is some kind of recursion falling into itself and what we think is life and time is
just a method of sorting our experience consciousness uses to make sense of it.
Between our consciousness and whatever is external there's an unnamed mediator.
We're taught that sensors in our body take in different signals, then a brain processes that data
into an illusion that our consciousness experiences. All of that is fundamentally reliant on the faith that
that intermediary is honest. We have no way of knowing because our consciousness itself is deaf, dumb, and blind.
We're given a story and must trust that the scenes and props are real, which they might be. They might also not be.
There is only one thing that we can truly know. I am real and Yuji has doody digits. Everything else is unknowable.
