How do I fix brain fog? I never used to be like this. Something changed in the past year.

The reason why I reccomend those 3 supplement is below.

I noticed on the 7th or 8th day of taking beta alanine, for 3grams per day, that i never had a single depressive thought while on it, it was impossible for me to have depression and when I noticed this I realized beta alanine is better than any anti depressant on the market in keeping all forms of depression away, it's a strange feeling not being able to feel sad, hopeless, depressed because of taking it.

10,000iu of vitamin d3 per day change my ocd, it cured it actually, and my thoughts became completely different after I was on it for half a year, im no longer the same person from when I wasn't taking it, it helps me with ocd and it makes me laugh more.

NAC helps me by being anti ocd, my thoughts changed slightly on NAC, but not as much compared to beta alanine and vitamin d3.

Melatonin helps me fall asleep quickly and have a great sleep every night.

Start abusing aspirin, caffeine and nicotine. Quarter gram of unadulterated acetylsalicylic acid with plenty of water first thing in the morning. Follow it up with a cig or a patch and green tea, top up your caffeine with coffee as necessary, but no later than lunchtime. Fucks up prime REM time otherwise.

If this doesn't work odds are you need to re-evaluate your lifestyle in general.

If you're concerned see a doctor about it, B12 deficiency could cause brain fog but then again any deficiency probably could and you can't know without a blood test at the very least.

After reading your suggestions, here is my plan. After acquiring aspirin, caffeine, nicotine, unadulterated acetylsalicylic acid, ciggies, nicotine patches, green tea, caffeine, coffee, vit d3, nac, beta alanine, melatonin, B vitamins, lsd/shrooms and anki, I will crush up these ingredients into a fine powder, and shove it up my ass. Cut sugar and refined grains and seed oils out of your diet for one. Eat more blueberries, eggs, and 85%+ dark chocolate, get more sunlight and exercises. There's a couple books about optimizing your diet for cognitive performance, like Genius Foods by Max Lugavere or Brain Food by Lisa Mosconi you can check out for more things to try.

I got hemorrhoids this weekend and stopped eating. Yesterday after hunger fatigue I felt a surge of energy and mental clarity. I might just stay on keto to get my thesis done, if you have fat on your body try fasting and get into keto quick. Eating and shitting is energy depleting even with working out.

You got a lot of inflammation in your brain, beta alanine acts as a anti inflammatory while also increasing brain derived neuro growth factor in the brain, which probably explains why it won't allow that other anon to experience depression anymore.

If you have brain fog just take 3 grams of beta alanine, you should notice a big difference at the latest... 4 to 12 weeks... if your brain for is really that bad.

Since beta alanine increases BDNF significantly in the brain, I would suggest taking it for half a year to an entire year, 3 grams a day, so the BDNF increase slowly heals your brain of any damage that has been causing your brain fog.

That's the best opinion I have of improving your situation.

Just to add to the cacophony, elevated CO2 levels in your home from inadequate ventilation can also cause brain fog, and did for me. It can be seasonal based on ambient temperature and whether your A/C or heater is running. Effects can appear within minutes, just open your window all the way for a couple hours and see what happens.

OP I had terrible brain fog, anxiety and extreme lethargy. I started doing SR (semen retention) and supplement magnesium, iodine, lecithin and occasionally ashwagandha. I shit you not my brainfog is gone. Not only that but my ADHD reduced, my memory improved and my mental clarity is off the charts these days. That was my experience anyway, I'm not promising anything. But I had severe brainfog that greatly interfered with my work, and now it's gone.

Generally abstaining from all the bullshit you consume on a daily basis will improve that. Do a 16:8 intermittent fast every day, drink only water, and try to eat healthy(you know what healthy is so eat that). Sugar, alcohol, coffee, nicotine, weed etc. has fucked all of brains, take a break from that stuff will give you clarity. Also putting your phone down and going for a walk or just sitting outside and watching the clouds pass by for 20 minutes will help.

Me too, its little things like not being able to remember a name, or whatever trivial fact. Reading books I dont have a rich imagination session after each page.
In my case I think its some abuse collectively wearing on me, because thats really the only thing thats different unless its the sun flipping its poles or whatever. I did get sick in Feb so it might be damage from that.

It's going to be nearly impossible for us to figure it out if you can't even figure it out yourself despite having far more information about yourself than we do.
That said, I used to have really bad brain fog. It started going away once I stopped working a corporate office job. Took about a year to become completely clear but most of the improvement was front loaded.
