Fuck this company. MIDAC Corpoation are the fucking worst. Everything needs to be done through email.

Want a manual? Email. Want to update software? Email. Want to get drawing and specs? Email.

Just stick with Agilent and you'll be happy.

Not in the 21st century. If you're off site and you think about something, you're not 1 click away from verifying it with the manual.

If you want to compare it with another product you have to wait for hours or days before they even send a response.

I had to travel to a different site because they were having an issue replicating my results on their MIDAC. It turned out they needed to update the software. This process should take seconds to rectify but nope. Had to email these fuckers. They took a day and a bit to respond. Fucking 10s of thousands wasted.

lots of OEMs are like that. Grundfos, embpast, IDEC. Youll never reach an engineer to save your life. You find a bug? critical security vulnerability?
incompatibilities? typos in documentation?
you can get a hold of sales, and maybe some guy named Ed in the warehouse. the more expensive the equipment gets, the worse the support is.

Pretty much. We are currently doing a massive purge of such companies. They have wasted millions.

We get it. They are understaffed because of their specialist equipment but it wouldn't kill to get some docs online rather than a link to their mailto.

Agilent, Anton Paar, Bruker etc. Also do bespoke equipment. Slightly more expensive (or not) but they're shit for brains fast at handling issues.
