Scientifically speaking, why aren't fighter jets this big in reality? You could fit more bombs in one plane if the plane was scaled up in size like in this fake AI photo.

because then little fighter jets would outmaneuver them and make them swiss cheese. that's essentially the difference between bombers and fighters

A larger mass takes more energy to accelerate and maneuver, and larger wings flex too much for high G maneuvers.

That said, modern fighters are about the size of vintage bombers.

F35 doesnt do dogfights, it scans for enemies and shoots rockets. Its just a stealth platform for rockets and glide bombs

Power vs size
You can do HP per Ton for cars too.

In fairness, fighter-bombers are a thing, so if you'd prefer, the question could be phrased as "why aren't there fuckmassive fighter-bombers" which is reasonable.

You know how tons of Americans own oversized trucks and SUVs? I leave the rest of the argument as an exercise for the reader.

(I legitimately had a significantly more detailed explanation than this all typed out relating to combat roles and shit, but desu, this shit's way simpler and cleaner.)

Making fighter jets (or fighter-bombers) that large would push us closer to a world with Gundam and Space Marines. Probably best to avoid that path.

The Chicken Tax has just been repealed. Small trucks are coming back to the US. CAFE standards have also been changed so sedans, sports cars, and even wagons are going to come back. The age of SUVs and massive $100k trucks is coming to an end.

They don't have to shoot down F-35s. Those just drop out of the sky on their own.

This shit's nonsensical

1. The chicken tax didn't even fucking apply to crossovers and those shits are everywhere
2. Car companies only carry smaller vehicle lines to offset their van and truck sales under CAFE.
3. Car companies sell SUVs and trucks because they can be overpriced to fuck and back and Americans will still buy them because small dick energy. That shit's not going away.
4. Foreign manufacturers all got slapped with giant tariffs

Because each one costs ~1/5 of a billion dollars and no one wants to waste the use.

If each one costs $1M, we'd see them flying everywhere all the time, in hundreds at a time
