Why haven't anyone made a room temperature superconductor yet?

I will make a room-temperature superconductor if the government gives me a $10million grant.
If the government gives me a $100million grant, I will end global warming.
If the government gives me a $1billion grant, I will turn trannies into women.
If the government gives me a $10billion grant, I will exterminate the White race.

But you could probably find a theoretical material using just a pc with good enough GPU, which most gaymers have. Or maybe use HPC at your uni or sum.

It only hurts if you were dumb enough to think it was real. Anyone in the know recognized it as dead on arrival. What blows my mind is how I got into arguments with mathematicians and physicists alike who believed it was legit simply because they posted a video, and got fucking hostile when I explained this is merely the next in line of a very very very long list of false promises on this topic

As a salaried employee none of those Wage Theft violations apply to me. I also do not own a car. Larceny, Burglary, and Robbery only apply to people retarded enough to get caught by them. Face it. Taxation is Theft and it is the most ignoble and greatest theft the Average American faces in this world today. Take a Risk. Start a Business. You will Understand then.

Compared to a hundred years ago, we already have. That's how technology works. "scarcity" is relative.

We don't even need a room temp superconductor. Even just one that can reliably operate at say 10 degrees Celsius higher than our current ones would be a game changer

That paper is about conventional superconductivity.

There is also unconventional superconductovity, but progress in this kind is glacially slow because simulations cannot be made about it. That was the nice thing about conventional ones.

So we're back at throwing shit together, heating it up, cooling down and measuring current. Something might get discovered but it'll take decades

Please explain that one.
YBCO is the normal workhorse and works fine at LN2 tenperatures. What more do you gain at, say, dry ice temperatures?
