I looked it up and apparently it's because of the protein tropomyosin, which is present in chitin from both. Not necessarily toxic though, it depends if you're allergic.

interesting point
they'll be limited to x% by weight of bug protein lest they have to label it as not for people with a shellfish allergy
then people will wonder what what shellfish allergies have to do with the goyslop we're being served

It is poisonous you dumbass, it causes severe inflammation and allergic reactions due to the fact the human body isn't designed to process it.

All that shit about eating bugs instead of meat is actually big media trying to get you killed. Once your diet comprises of chitin for a significant amount you'll start to have health issues.

They just want people dead, why do you think media supports everybody getting their covid booster and covid vaccines and eating bugs on a daily basis.

>allergic reactions
So do shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, gluten, and a fuck ton of other foods.

>severe inflammation
Source? Besides other foods like tomatoes famously can cause inflammation.

No. Bug chitin isn’t particularly special either. Mushrooms also have chitin and marine invertebrates have calcified chitin

That’s not what a poison is
