Ok gentlemen, I'm curious as to the synthesis of a lil unknown (well known in certain circles) chemical that apparently the human body naturally converts 1,4-Butanediol into. Now I know what you're thinking, what do I need this byproduct for? Purely for personal experimentation. I've had a curiosity and fascination with the effects of this byproduct chemical for many years, and being it's currently banned in the USA (home) for purchase, I would like someone, if possible, to explain the synthesis process for an amateur home chemist.

I've honestly been fascinated with the effects of aforementioned byproduct since I was a teenager, and despite much experimentation with many chemicals I've yet to encounter it. Being that I don't and probably won't be frequenting (homosexual) nightclubs because of my sexuality and age, and because tomorrow is my 34th birthday, I thought of consulting the intelligent gentlemen of this board for a solution to my curiosity.

My intention is not to break the law but the curiosity regarding the subject stated earlier. I have a plentiful and rigourous sex life so I'm not asking this for nefarious purposes. I just wanna know, personally, what the effects of this taboo chemical are. I met a gentlemen once at a music festival, the only person I've ever met who had tried it, and he didn't "glorify" the effects but didn't knock them either.

GHB and GBL are like a more enjoyable alcohol, although I took it about 5 times so it might have been the novelty as well.
It's like a clearer-headed drunkenness with the same body load and relaxation. I felt more horny on GHB than alcohol, but alcohol never really felt arousing like weed/ghb/most psychedelics, amphetamines and MDMA are king there though. Don't recall it lasting very long, and your memory of it will be affected like with alcohol. Overdose is dangerous and the amount you ingest is much less than with even strong spirits so be careful.
