Post a picture of your course abstract algebra textbook and rate it out of 10 points.

Mine, 7/10. Could have had more examples.

I mean I understand them in a scalar/vector/matrix sense as constants or paramates multiplied with whatever variables of interest. But functional coefficients? Manifoldian coefficients?Fiber bundle tangent coefficients? I have no idea

for example if i have a sequence and it has some indexes, if one of those indexes have some parameter multiplied by them, is that a coefficient of the sequence?

Right on. Well I can tell you the book that John Lawrence always used to shilled: Rotman. Also, the standard Dummit and Foote one is fine. I tried some Sergelangshit and it was shit.

One non-textbook recommendation is: try implementing some algebra shit like grobner basis on a computer. It’s easy these days with Python. Specialized algebra software is usually a nightmare, like macaulay2, but Python is easy and a transferable skill

It is, that's why it's called just algebra in real books. Only American undergrad slop call it "abstract algebra".

pfft! I learned that in middle school. Mathfags must really be low IQ if they're still trying to master algebra in grad school.

I really liked "algebra chapter 0". It presents two formalisms, one that is classical (where everything is derived from sets) and the other that is categorical.

Are you retarded or something? I'm American, and I literally went to "middle school" in between elementary and high school. Don't tell me you are one of those people who calls it "Jr. High?"
