How will this change the future of the science of warfare? Is the US dominance over?

the US has them too they just don't show them, there were a few revlutionary robot designs that showed up like 5 years ago aprox, and they suddenly "disappeared", my take is that they were brought to secret military projects, things like wall climbing robot, humming bird robot and pipeline robot

Impressive. China finally caught up to what USA had twenty years ago (maybe even earlier). Probably some Chinaman on an H1-B visa and low level security clearance stole the idea thinking he was hot shit

Why doesn't the US military ever reveal any of this alleged cool stuff for propaganda like every other country does? It would probably make our adversaries respect us more if they did. I think the truth is that the US is so horribly mismanaged with rules and regulations they just can't accomplish anything

Yes, it's a genuine question. I think you are quite mistaken. Why do you claim that everything we see from China is the best they have, whereas the best US technology is secret? If you think governments are in the business of hiding their best military technology, why wouldn't China do the same thing? China actually has much more control over their population's speech and their government and army has a more vertical and centralized structure so it should be easy for them to hide secrets than it is in the US.

There aren't even any good examples in history of things like this happening. Most military technologies are revealed to the public or used in war immediately after they're finished being developed. For example, the development of the B-2 was highly classified yet rumors and leaks revealed its existence during the development. Then as soon as one of them was finished they rolled it out and let the public see it. And that's basically the most futuristic and surprising plane they ever came out with. Today it would be even harder to keep a secret since everyone in the military is posting anonymous tiktoks and spy satellites and drones surveil every inch of the earth 24/7 with millimeter resolution. China has full access to everyone's phone and there are spies in every university and company.

When they made the F-35 they didn't even bother making it a secret, and the entire production was televised like a reality show. Everything Boston dynamics makes is posted on YouTube for publicity and they send their robots to do public performances and demos. What do you really think they have that's better than what we see?

We will probably never see technology that's as surprising as the B-2 ever again since America is a crumbling empire where most of our effort is spent on paperwork and most of our money is wasted or embezzled, and the low hanging fruits of technology are already picked.

i'm of the opinion that the government is still doing crazy projects like they were half a century ago, but we won't get to hear about any of the harebrained shit they're doing with drones and AI right now until its declassified in the 2070s.
