Real question is, are ligers the result of TMLF or LMTF pairings ?

Since lions hunt in groups they're more likely to win.
Since the tiger fights alone he's more likely to win against an isolated lion.

I chuckle at the sight of the word liger every time.
For some reason it fires up a connection between li(ght) and (ni)gger = ligger
Interesting fact, the other way around fusion creates "night".

That's retard logic. For one thing, they have totally separate prey. Another thing is that one can say that the hierarchical dominance structure with male rivals competing for mates actually makes the lifestyle of the Alpha Lion pretty rugged, compared to Tigers who tend to avoid each other in the wild, save for the purposes of copulation.

I definitely think Lions are better fighters because of this too, though Tigers are better hunters.

Tigers fight each other all the time and it's to the death and not just for dominance unlike lions. Tigers usually win being bigger and deadlier in general.
