There’s a false myth going around that you can grow until 25.

I’m going to debunk this using scientific articles.

Some height maxxing copers will use this study to falsely tell you growth can happen after 21.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/6638938/

This is debunked by this study, showing that your out of hundreds of people, 0 had their growth plates by age 21. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7983983/

In fact growing after 21 is so rare, there’s an article on wikia showcasing height growth past 21 to be very rare to the point there’s barely any famous cases.
https://verticalityakaheight.fandom.com/wiki/Height_Growth_After_21

Growth in height after 22 is easily 1 in 1000 level rare

Spine compression/decompression results in an average of 1 to 2 cm difference in height between getting out of bed in the morning and going back to it at the end of the day. If a study doesn't control for this by measuring people who have been out of bed for the exact same amount of time, you can throw it into the trash.

I can't explain it. I wasn't trying to grow taller, it just sort of happened. I can't even say pills did a damn thing. Maybe I'm just a late bloomer. The 5 year range is because I never even noticed it till someone mentioned I was now taller than them. I mean after a certain age you don't expect to keep growing, so why measure your height at all, right?

You’re a liar and unless you can provide medical evidence ( you can simply just show the age and evidence of height growth that late while blurring out sensitive info) why should I take you seriously?

I gave no evidence showing it was possible to grow until 26, retard.

The entire thread is growing after 21 is extremely rare. In fact Ralph macchio is the only confirmed case of growth where he kept growing until 25.

Ralph Macchio clearly didn’t even touch puberty until the age of 19/20. You can see in karate kid at the age of 22/23 he looked like a 14 year old.

Unless you started puberty that fucking late why should I believe someone grew up until 26 without any evidence. You idiot

>Wrong it's 16 for wom[e]n, 18 for men.
No, you're wrong, because
16/18 ≠ 7/8,
16-year-old females aren't women yet, and
18-year-old males aren't men yet.
Here's what you should have written:
On her 2*7 = 14th birthday, a female finishes puberty.
On his 2*8 = 16th birthday, a male finishes puberty.
>This sounds like agecucked nonsense.
What you wrote is also "age[-]cucked", because 16 ≠ 18.
You probably think,
that 16-year-old females
and 18-year-old males
are old enough to be drafted.
Fight your own battles and wars.

I stopped growing when I was about 14, but at the time I was prediabetic which I suspect stunted my overall height. It was, of course, caused by a highly sedentary teen lifestyle which took me a while to reverse with exercise. Crazy I would have probably never found out had I not went to the hospital for something unrelated and learned my blood sugar was 100 after about 20 hours of fasting.

Regardless, I'm sure it's not unreasonable for some guys to get stunted for some reason or another in adolescence and have a late growth spurt. I didn't grow in my 20s, but realistically that's probably just height you would have gotten anyways. I would assume some guys grow in their 20s regardless of nutrition/health, but that would be much rarer.

Unscientific. Genes are just instructions. Instructions for what? If you can't explain the mechanism by which a particular gene or set of genes causes variability in growth, you're engaging in as mch fantastic thinking as your average conspiracy theorist (which doesn't mean that you're necessarily wrong, you just have no proof).

NATURALLY

growth disorders, diseases, etc do not count. Height growth is only occurring during puberty and maybe slightly after.
>>16732543
Well First world countries have enough access to nutrition and your height growth is very unlikely to be stunted.

BUT

As an underweight person though I do think Epigenetics can happen where underweight people cannot reach their full height. I do notice sometimes that some underweight small framed girls can be shorter than their mother. However me being underweight and most other guys I knew who are underweight surpassed their dad in height.

So being underweight may not really stunt height as much as others think. Especially since most of us just generally have smaller frames in general implying we were meant to be skinny
