Since the internet is shit and impossible to find any information on now I'll ask here
What did we learn from Unit 731's experiments? Had to learn something doing all that shit

I heard a story that they found out how long it took for babies to freeze to death if left out in the cold. Many of the "experiments" were just to torture people. The unit's main purpose was to study infectious diseases so they could be used as bioweapons.

IIRC they destroyed a lot of the records
From the Nazi experiments they only really learned some stuff about hypothermia
They actually learned a technique for administering aid for hypothermia which is still used today
All in all it was a huge waste, one of the only times in history where people could do human experiments with no ethical limitations but they were bad at science so none of it was useful

Basically this. Unsurprisingly, the kind of people who don't see any ethical dilemma about using non-consenting human beings for medical "experimentation" also aren't particularly rigorous in said "experimentation"

If there was good science being done, post it
