If people understood how much of this expolanet nonsense was invented by insanely loose guesswork we'd never have these stupid threads again.

JWST is seeing a dimming of the star, that's it. The rest is 90% guesswork, and a few calculation based on our one solar system frame of reference. Given how worng we often are about objects we can actually see, I would be incredibly, incredibly surprised if even A SINGLE one of these planets bears even a remote resemblance to these estimates.
