Really the biggest caveat of nutritional supplements is that they imbalance each other.
Too much magnesium will leech out iron, for example. And there’s many more cases like this.
Good nutrition still mogs pharmacolojews thobeit.

Yes there are many ways to throw off mineral balance. Unfortunately soil and food has far less than what it used to, for example copper is something like 30% of what it used to be in fruits and vegetables.

Yep, GMO crop designers get paid based on how big and fast they can make crops grow, not necessarily how nutritional they are.
It’s unfortunate.
There’s also a case to be made with modern tap water. Very sterile and safe, but a little lacking compared to “hard water” like from wells and streams.

10,000 is definitely needed in some people who are deficient enough, while also being enough to poison others, but it wont kill you without at least a couple dozen repeated doses most likely, and you'd be suffering and know you're overdosing on it or at least know soething is very wrong

i didnt say it would kill anyone to take indefinitely but im kind of glad you took it that way because this is an interesting anecdote, i think many people would be poisoned by this, especially myself, but that is because my body isnt using enough i guess, i probably need more exercise and other nutrients to help me make use of more vitamin d

>only zinc, because it helps (or makes) your body lose its copper which is needed for absorbing iron
copper is necessary for iron transport into red blood cells, I actually wrecked myself taking zinc and was able to fix it by taking copper, it's hard to balance the ratios but takes experimentation

oh yeah but there is the problem with absorption

like if you take it in the form of 1 or 2 tiny pills without much if any fat in your stomach you will only absorb a small fraction of it, so that is what could be going on with you

what i do is i take multiple 1000 IU pills because the absorption is much more consistent

but i probably could use more exercise and more of many micronutrients

That's just completely wrong. In order to reach toxic levels you need to take 20,000iu per day at minimum for like a year.

10,000iu per day is fine, its better than 5000iu, your still way below toxicity levels.

bullshit
ive taken literally thousands of vitamin D pills over 10 years
and if i took 10,000 a day for a few weeks max i would have tons of pain in my stomach. and so did my friend who i got to start taking vitamin d and he stupidly tried relying on it too much and ended up with abdominal pain all the time too
i think you're just not absorbing much and are basing all this on your own personal experience

There was a 20 year study where they gave patients with schizophrenia MEGA doses of Vitamin D for weeks or months. I'm talking 50,000 IU a day. Apparently it improved their symptoms and well being.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8505257/

Here's the study - fact check me if I said anything stupid or misremembered, I gotta run.

What's the point of doing studies then? The point is it's not "toxic" taking 10,000 IU. It's the equivalent of 20-30 mins of sun exposure.

>therefore taking that much every day forever is fine

Yeah, that's about the maximum your body will produce per day, maybe 20k at most if youre in serious need

Not to mention that's probably the most ideal conditions, like a white person living near the equator, which is not where white people evolved to live

Most overlooked condition in the west is probably Vitamin D deficiency. I just had it big time, it sucked ass - My bones hurt, I was tired, depressed, got migraines 3-4 times a week so bad I couldnt do shit.

When I got diagnozed I started taking 100mcg daily for months until I could just get into the sun more, now I feel much better.

Fun fact, did you know they mass produce D3 from washing sheep and processing the wash water?

The evil people are the ones who mass purchase experimental anti-virals and genetherapeutic "vaccines" instead of telling you to supplement with D3 in the winter. Conveniently it is the same people who are telling you that taking 10.000 IU of vitamin D is "toxic".

If you have any of these conditions:
- Low T
- Bad mood
- Depression
- Chronic fatique
- Sleep +8 hours daily
- Bones that hurt
- Migraines
- Unexplained gain of fat around the belly
- Frequent infection
- Slow healing wounds

You probably should try taking 10.000IU for a few months, im serious.
