Humans today are in denial about biology in all sorts of areas so what makes you think they’ll get anything else right lol

Tinnitus has a few different causes, most of which are not related to hearing loss
It's mostly a brain issue

/sci/ made me belief approximately 70-95 percent of scientist are just normies and grifters pretending to be smart and important.
That doesn't include Popper.

Maybe listening to music at 10/10 level for years as a kid was NOT a good idea?
EVERYONE warned you, but you NEEDED to be you.

because neurostimulation (using electricity on the brain) is very risky and used as an absolute last resort. why is it risky? because the brain is so interconnected that you could easily make things alot worse for the patient. one misstep in the procedure and your patient now suffers from seizures or some other shitty outcome. since we aren't sure how to cure tinnitus then it makes neurostimulation treatment even more risky.
