NASA will be reducing their workforce from 18,000 to 16,000 a cut of 11%. Projects that are currently running will wind down, with a further 10-20% of workforce being laid off as the program finishes.

This is coming after the cancelled Nancy Roman's telescope, cancelled Mars Sample Return, cancelled Lunar Gateway, Venus's atmospheric probe, cancelled LHWO, cancelled UOP, and a broad 50% budget cut.

Honestly, I think a lot of this is being cut because there is redundant funding for similar projects under the DoD umbrella that are mostly classified. That being said, pretty gay overall. Trump should have made a manned mission to Mars (or a manned mission wherever really) a priority of his administration.
