What is the most optimised way of representing imaginary numbers in binary for work in assembly to transform/create vectors?
On photo i have computer from scrap mechanic which i am currently working on, somehow related.

Two (there's more) ways you could represent complex numbers is as annon suggests to allocate a second number (reduce number of total bits if able.) Or to go polar and have magnitude and rotation between +, -, i, -i.
