Fat is just stored energy for when you go over a day without eating. Some people become fat because they store all the energy but they never use it. If you don't eat for about 24 hours, your body starts to eat your fat to power your body. And this causes you to lose weight.
To lose weight all you need to do is to go 24 hours without eating and then wait a little bit and then you can eat again for a few days and then just repeat the process again later. You don't want to fast for too long though because then your body will start to eat muscles and vital organs to stay alive. You will gradually lose weight if you do a short 24 hour fast every once in a while, lol.

you need to eat at least 30 grams of protein a day and some vitamins and minerals and then you can fast for weeks at a time. The body requires protein because body protein gets oxidized. Its as necessary as energy

Carbs reduce cortisol level, its just a fact. This is why you need to feed grains and sugar to laborers to keep them working.

energy is the power to do something
without sugar or fat your body has no power to do something
with fat it can do stuff
therefore: fat is energy

lol, but yes actually
sugar and fat does lower cortisol since historically those have been hard to come by and thus we are hard wired to feel good when we eat it since it means we are at least not starving to death
if your body is already in constant stress mode due to anxiety/mental health issues/health issues/etc then food can be effective in lowering cortisol temporarily, which is why people in bad situations often reach for it and gain weight
and yes, if you add the stress of being in a caloric deficit and having to watch your diet on top of chronic stress it can be more detrimental to overall health than just eating the damn food
the issue is that if the chronic stress is prolonged and thus the eating as cope goes on for months and years then the health impact of the excess weight and often highly processed food out weights the stress reducing effect and instead becomes an additional stress factor by introducing new issues like not feeling attractive, having issues with intimacy, financial stress due to having to buy new bigger clothes, medical bills, metabolic issues etc
itโ€˜s a balancing act but if you are overweight then trying to lose weight without fixing your life in general to get rid of the chronic stress is likely just going to be a temporarily effective effort that might dig you even deeper into shit because it adds even more stress and takes away a cope that helped you deal with the rest

Also when your body builds up tolerance to hunger pangs. Eventually you barely even feel them. And your stomach shrinks somewhat.

Bro the problem is feeling weak, tired, sluggish, dizzy, foggy and such without hunger. There's no relationship anymore between appetite, power level and what the body actually needs.

To effectively starve as a diet you need to be on vacation, and you have to eat at least 30 grams of protein a day and vitamins and minerals, you need your water soluble vitamins, sodium, potassium. You wont have energy so forget about working, studying, anything at all. Watch videos and rest.

Best recipe to lose weight is to only eat every two days.
Starve a day, only drink water or tea
Eat the next day
Repeat

It's all about the caloric deficit.
Sure, you can fast for 24+ hours and to create that caloric deficit, or you can just "eat less".
The only way that is scientifically proven to reduce weight is a caloric deficit.
Almost all diets make you lose weight by caloric deficit.

You can try dry-fasting, but Water-fasting seems to be the safest way to go about it.
Water-fasting is just fasting but you're allowed to drink as much water as you want.

If people are looking for simple advice on how to lose weight, my advice is to reduce carbs the most.
Carbs are empty calories.
Carbs are good if you need a lot of energy, like if you work manual labour or if you're doing a sporting event, but when inspecting people's diets, the vast majority of overweight and obese people simply eat too much carbs.
You don't have to go "full keto" and remove carbs completely, but I managed to lose weight easily, without counting calories, by simply reducing my carb intake by half or two-thirds.
I lost 15kgs / 33 lbs in about 5 months just by reducing my carb intake.

You don't need to eat that much rice/pasta/fries/bread. This advice applies to 99% of overweight and obese people.
