not all dinosaurs were birds (these were non avian dinosaurs, the ones that went extinct)
birds evolved from small meat eating dinosaurs
also the animal you posted is not a dinosaur, in fact it lived millions of years before the first animals we label as dinosaurs ever came to be, its a very early synapsid, in other words its a proto-mammal, sort of a mix of reptile and mammal characteristics, long before the true mammals ever appeared
which also means that its a very very distant ancestor of yourself
