ponder this: most animals have tentacles but human lineage + insect lineage doesnt
on top of that a house fly has several genes found in humans as well
tentacles:
-snails
-octopus
these tentacle groups are not related to deuterstomes but humans belong in deuterostomes
more tentacles:
-sea star
-crinoid star
these actually are deuterostomes, yet they have tentacles, underneath their arms, or at least sea star has small tentacles underneath, while crinoid is practically a frothing mass of tentacles and doesnt have proper arms
no tentacles at all:
-crustaceans
-insects
-spiders
-worms closely related to these
