Physics is philosophy measured through mathematics. Meaning you have philosophical ideas about how the world works. And you use mathematics to measure that idea to prove its validity. Newtons laws of motion is just philosophical ideas or principles.


Most physics can be applied to multiple different things.


For example the Bible says you reap what you sow. Thermodynamics can be summed up as inputs = outputs. Conservation of energy says you get out what you put in.


These are philosophically all the same things. However thermodynamics is formalized using mathematics and rules. Which is the only difference.
