Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe mental health disorder characterized by disruptions in thought, perception, emotion, and behavior, as defined by diagnostic criteria in the DSM-5 and ICD-11.

Identifying schizophrenia through anonymous social media posts is challenging and unreliable without clinical evaluation, as symptoms can overlap with other conditions or be exaggerated/misinterpreted in text.

>Hallucinations or Delusions
>Incoherent, tangential, or fragmented writing
>Posts expressing extreme apathy, social withdrawal, or lack of motivation
>Frequent mentions of confusion, fear, or alienation without clear context

The term "schitzo" (often a misspelling of "schizo") is considered a derogatory slur.

Schizophrenia is associated with dysregulation of neurotransmitters, particularly dopamine, glutamate, and GABA.
Genetic factors play a significant role, with heritability estimated at 60-80%
(e.g., prenatal stress, infections, or trauma).

Slandering someone with a derogatory, false diagnosis, is counterproductive, intellectually lazy, and unethical.

The people who would do that are crass narcissists, who probably have severe social problems themselves.
>Sane, normal, people don't behave that way.

There is nothing wrong with hypothesizing.
>Many great theories turn out to be incorrect.

That is an utterly moronic response.
>I'll break it down.

Folks are wide awake to the rot in the US system. You catch flak about it from every corner of the political zoo.

The American FDA has totally sold out to big pharma.americanprogress.org They ain't practicing legit Science or Medicine, they're peddling harm through a greedy profit racket.

It's way easier to dope up and scramble the brains of folks who don't fit the mold.

Psychiatry's still stuck in the Stone Age, and they keep pushing lobotomies in rare cases while electroconvulsive therapy stays on the menu like it's no big deal.

Looks like a solid 90% of the knuckleheads in this joint don't even qualify to drop a single post, and the prime suspects for straight-up crazy ain't got jack squat worthwhile to yap about on any damn thing.

They'd rather sling wild accusations, nasty slurs, and cheap insults 'cause it's their go-to shield to duck behind and guard their twisted delusions, all while strutting around like they're the holy rollers.

I'm just going to interrupt your circle jerk with the observation that those calling others schizo or telling someone to take meds are likely projecting.
Also, whining about being called schizo isn't actually a good look. If it actually hurts your feelings, it's either because it's wrong but mostly accurate, or entirely correct. Please consider correcting your issues.

Why do people have the legal right to refuse psychiatric medication?
>Primarily because of foundational principles in medical ethics and law that prioritize individual autonomy, informed consent, and constitutional protections.

>There are extremely important reasons why people need to be allowed to refuse chemical lobotomizations
A significant reason for upholding refusal rights is to protect against potential harms from psychiatric medications, which critics describe as inducing a "chemical lobotomy", a state of emotional blunting, cognitive dulling, anhedonia (inability to feel pleasure), and reduced mental functioning akin to surgical lobotomy.
>You'd literally chemically lobotomize a rare genius just to make yourself more comfortable, because you're a goddamn asshole.

This is all objectively proven, unless you're either incompetent to understand, or choosing to be willfully ignorant.

My dear chap, you're prattling on about the blindingly obvious, reminding one to breathe, or that light serves to illuminate the shadows.

Yet you fancy your words a stroke of genius, blind to their utter banality. Evidently, you've no clue whom you're addressing.

I'd guess you're pretending to take informal language seriously to satisfy a craving for engagement. Almost nobody who calls you a schizo is crafting a serious argument that you're diagnosable with schizophrenia and there is almost no chance you don't know this. Although the only way to actually have a high IQ and post here is by having low conscientiousness, ADHD, autism or some kind of mental condition that impairs your self-control to refrain from consuming bullshit, so maybe you are a schizo or something else, hopefully not an idiot. Did you enjoy excreting a bunch of sentences? I regret it personally.

I may have a biased perspective though because I find it hard to imagine "projecting", feeling hurt or having a strong emotional reaction beyond amusement or lust on an anonymous imageboard. It's baffling to me than anyone would actually get mad or go out of their way to hide and filter threads. Whiny bitches are just pretending for fun, right?

I think not for there is suppressed evidence and locked/destroyed research documents on this prolonged endeavor out somewhere. There were actual case studies aside from heritage, that circumcision damages the mind, traumatizing effects even. If I recall correctly, the pattern recognized findings were uncovered in Canada through MRI scans. Eventually though, they were not permitted to submit the documents publicly as it would revoke their medical license and become downright outcasts should they proceed. Coincidence indeed.

Why would there be a 't' when schizophrenia has no such thing?
If you wanted to seriously bait, you should not have gone full retard.
