Maybe the reason why Europe is so much steps behind usa in science consists of the fact that europeans don't let asian migrants do the science? Usa cares only about efficiency and let asians do all the hard part while old white men could claim achievements of asians in collaborative work. So white people can larp both as superior and also delegate all the hard work to asians to make the academic system work.
Europe should learn from America to invent something more useful than attached bottle caps.

I think usa is just able to make big companies that are able to scale and create markets for the technology.

Usa is pretty businesses friendly and promotes entrepreneurship

Attached bottle cap is good invention, and you think it's bad only because you seen meme claiming it's bad, and it's also sign that you don't think on your own.

Chinks are very good at grinding out experiments all day, which is something the US's system favors more than Europe's. The academic system in the US is generally more competitive, and while more papers get published generally these are of lower quality. If you have a long term experiment going you can get some chink phd slaves to run it and pump out a couple papers every year without having to do too much actual thinking.

It's laughable to even suggest Europe is behind in science, when they're significantly better at theory almost across the board. There are a few departments which outrank Europe, mainly in a few ivies higher ranking schools, but that's it.

If you're referring to Euro military hegemony, it was itself due to Europe technologically overpassing Asia in the first place

It was mostly luck and proximity to the sources of resources that could be used, but not too many to not require action.
In modern global world, the chances are equalising and the dependence on geography falls

What proximity of resources allowed Euros to develop firearms further after inheriting them from China, or yield Newton, the combustion engine, electricity? And how do you explain that this pattern held even when transplanted in North America and South Africa
It can't be luck because it was too persistent throughout the centuries. But I think it's also modulated by the Zeitgeist of the era because before that it was Islam and Asia that overpassed Europe. But I'm not arguing like you did by invoking Mongol, Hun, Ummayad invasions of Europe to rationalize it, cause I think these were effects, not causes. They happened because Europe was underperforming, Europe wasn't underperforming because they happened.

It's too chaotic and complex to make historical revisionism like this. The fact hat really matters is that as the role of geography falls behind, people who are more competent show more often than before in places they should be

I don't know about other European countries but here in the UK there is no notable industry happening anymore.

The government no longer employs anyone directly but instead subcontracts everything to private companies. It does this specifically through an auction system wherein the government is legally required to pick the lowest bid for how much a project is estimated to cost, this of course results in choosing the worst company every time that inevitably scams the government for up to 100x the original estimated cost, and of course nothing ever gets done.

Private companies meanwhile are stifled into non-existence through excessive regulations. If a company has the choice, it is always preferable to do business in the US or some other country than the UK.

The result is that nothing of worth has come out of the UK in decades, there are no industries of note here, and a single measly railway no more than 150 miles has been under contruction for nearly a decade, has cost over $60 billion and not a single brick has yet to be lain and likely never will
