tf u talking about? Yes he was very smart, but plenty of physicists have contributed a lot more than him.

It isn't. He just had the courage to be non-conformist relative to the meme of the stuffy academic and while without a doubt he was brilliant, he was a legendary teacher above all else - that's where his reputation comes truly from: the halls of Princeton or wherever the fuck he taught.

There are no credible reports or documented evidence suggesting that Richard Feynman was ever accused of rape. However, there is extensive evidence that he engaged in casual sexism, sexual manipulation, harassment, and abusive behavior, especially toward women in academic and social settings.
No rape allegations found
There is no record of rape charges or credible allegations of non-consensual sex involving Feynman.
1. Pick‑up tactics and misogynistic tales
In Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!, Feynman recounts learning a technique to ask women—sometimes bar workers—if they’d have sex before buying them anything. He refers to these women as “bitches” and tells a story of calling one “worse than a whore” after she refused his advances, even though later she invited him home. He notes he didn’t enjoy using that tactic and stopped doing it.

2. Behavior toward students and junior colleagues

3. Multiple affairs and power misuse

Biographical accounts detail affairs with faculty members’ wives, students, and colleagues, suggesting he exploited his academic status and prestige.

His second wife reportedly cited cruelty in their divorce, describing neglect and emotional abuse.

4. Contemporary criticism and reevaluation

Historians and commentators (e.g. Scientific American, The Baffler) emphasize Feynman’s deeply embedded sexism, manipulative behavior, and abuse of power.

Students and colleagues have characterized his conduct as hostile or harmful, with consistent reports on Reddit indicating he made many women uncomfortable and contributed to environments that forced some out of academia

I don't know much about the specifics so I'm not going to comment on them but I know who Richard Feynman is and I know that he said "Sex is like physics, it's useful, but that's not why we do it"

Richard Feynman was an accomplished genius that was also a ladies man that slept with at least half of his colleagues and probably the janitor. When someone says "they got sexually exploited" by him, you need to make sure that it wasn't one of a hundred instances where they got porked when they got invited to talk about the three body problem and then said they were less than happy about it half a century later in a way that Tumblr could call "rape"

>help Harvey Feynman invited me back to his hotel room for a drink and then tried to initiate sex. I tried to escape, but he was just so imposing and I didn't even think to call for help in this building with 500 other human beings in it
