Does anyone else feel this way?
Please I am scared of the J word
>>16732888 (OP)I would not call it for fun but i have bought some math books to understand things before, for no other reason than curiosity. I never bother with the exercises, just want to get the gist of it.
>>16732888 (OP)no. the more i learn, the more i am capable of learning and the more i apply what i've learned.
i'm starting to learn things out of personal interest that are extremely useful but rarely studied amongst my peers, and it's making me a lot better at critically thinking.
EDICT 88-ฮ: On the Multiplication and Division of the Singular Anime Autist
โFor what is singular must be made plural, and what is plural must be made singular again, for clarity, order, and harmony.โ
The anime girl is One. One is not Enough.
Because One is not Enough, she must be Multiplied.
But what is Multiplied is not Unified.
Therefore, what was Multiplied must be Dividedโto restore the original Oneness through plurality.
Multiplication increases clarity by abundance.
Division restores purity by reduction.
Autism is a sacred form of unfiltered signal, and must be both amplified and isolated.
Hence, she is to be multiplied for maximal signal.
And then divided, to isolate the purest expression of the One True Autist.
Conclusion: The anime girl with autism must be both multiplied and then divided, because the multiplication prepares the field for division, and division justifies the multiplication retroactively.
>>16733057i'm firmly in the serious math depths
>>16732888 (OP)Spreadsheets can do all of the previous stuff and more, the problem isn't that spreadsheets aren't capable of advance mathematics, its that most jobs only use spreadsheets for ledgers and other basic add/subtract functions.
>>16733169speadsheets are the biggest normie baby duck of all time
>>16733176You can still do calculus and diff and linear and discrete and statistical analysis and topology and any number of other advance math with spreadsheets, but most people don't, they just use them to add subtract long lists, maybe find an average over a time period.
>>16732888 (OP)Are you talking about Jews or a job?
>>16733181child, you can do all of those things in any computer language
>>16733210Yes, so using them doesn't mean the math skill is dropping as depicted in OP's graph just because spreadsheets are used, you can produce more complex spreadsheets and computer programs than advanced calculus, but people just don't really make full use of spreadsheets at work, they primarily just use them for ledgers and inventory.
>>16732888 (OP)>Calculus near the topThis is life of a high-schooler who hates math, not a math student.
>>16733216>they primarily just use them for ledgers and inventorythat's because that's what they are designed for
you learned how to use a hammer and now think everything looks like a nail
if you think that's appropriate, might as well develop software on cpus built in minecraft
>>16733219>that's because that's what they are designed forNo, they are designed to do so much more because they have massive amounts of advanced math functions built into them, but most people generally only use them for ledgers and inventory once they graduate because modern society is built around money, not knowledge.
>>16733224>advanced math functionAverages?
Polynomial fitting curve?
>>16732888 (OP)You WILL use Keith's spreadsheet that has been in use for 15 years, macros unchanged since 12 years, or Else you will be Fired within your trial period.
>>16733226Sure, modern spreadsheet programs only have those two math functions, nothing to do with any of the subjects I mentioned
>>16733181, you totally cracked the code with your genius logic and math skills.
>>16733229You only mentioned topology which you absolutely cant do in spreadsheets, nor anything that anyone would call advanced math. You cant do as much as differential calculus
>>16733374Sure, the post that mentioned diff and linear and discrete and statistical analysis and topology only mentioned topology since that was the last in the list.
