Natural selection kept the hands and did not hide them completely, most likely due to aerodynamic balance.

Think of how long it took for that evolution to occur, millions of years?
Then how long has it been since they went extinct?
Whew the span of time is mind boggling

You're joking but it's entirely possible they were used to communicate if they hunted in packs (this is still debated) or maybe during mating season.

They were about the size of the arms of a large body builder but five times as strong. Not great for combat but certainly useful around the Jurassic kitchen.

It shows, that a Tyrannosaurus rex is fantasy/fiction, instead of reality/fact.

There was no point to them. It was simply something that they barely used, so it gradually become destroyed due to the action of entropy upon the genetic code.
Note however that T-Rex is a poor example of vestigial arms. They weren't, truly. We know that because we know examples of dinos of lineages a whopping 30 million years younger than T-Rex with truly useless arms (pic is a later cousin species of what I mean)

So for T-Rex, who opted to keep the arms, it means they weren't completely inert and useless

Vestigial but remained because it probably helped during mating (the T-rex would finger and tickle the females cloaca to make it wet before entering)

I would bet (based on nothing but my own speculation) that they were probably proportionally larger in infant trexs and then just didn't grow along with the rest of the body. Maybe useful in self defense before size made claws irrelevant, or perhaps for newborn balance, or as a means of interacting with their environment.

Actually after checking the Trexs ancestor the Guanlong exhibited proportionally larger arms in juveniles.
Then again that's also true of most babies including humans, idk.

I don't think we actually have a (real) baby trex skeleton though.
