You get up, giving them a bow. “Thank you all for your time. This has helped a lot.”
Cocoa does the same, saying, “We’ll take all you’ve said to heart.”
“Babuhbaahppaaa!” the little Basilea calls out, making grabby hands toward you.
“Hehe, I think she wants some attention from you.” Princess Misa comments.
You approach with a smile, asking in a cutsey voice, “Who’s Basilly? Whoooo’s Basillysilly? You are, yes you are!” You blow a raspberry and tickle her with your tail, the little demon girl giggling joyfully as you play with her.
Basilea crosses her arms and pouts again. “Must you?”
“She likes me.” you retort, with little Basilea clapping and babbling again. “Still, truly, thanks. Is there anything that we can do for you? You’ve done a lot for us in these last few months, so it’s only fair we return the favor.”
“I…” She hesitates, looking away as she considers it. Glancing at Princess Misa, she grumbles and says in a quiet but reluctant voice, “I could… use some help trying to socialize better…”
“...R-really…?” you ask hesitantly.
“Don’t… read too much into it.” she growls. “…But I’ve been keeping to my own fairly frequently unless pulled out for something important by you or Izumi. And if I am going to actually live here… I might as well at least try.”
You notice Princess Misa nodding approvingly at that. You and Cocoa look at one another, and after a slight “Why not?” shrug, you agree. “Sure. That sounds fine. Gonna have to find some things to try out for ya.”
“You certainly could do with some shopping.” Cocoa comments. “Something more casual, y’know?”
“Hmnh.” she snorts dismissively, but doesn’t try to complain about the offer.
“One last thing, Princess Misa, I think I’ll need to continue coordinating with Beelzebub a bit more frequently, both helping out his resistance and now keeping an eye out for Reapa.” you comment. “I at least assume she’s going to be staying in the Demon Realm for some time, but if we see her elsewhere, we’d like to keep him updated on that too.”
“Of course. We’ll keep in touch. And Peppa? Cocoa? I’m sure the two of you will make great parents.”
“We’ll do our best.” Cocoa replies.
“Thanks again, until next time!”
