I don't experiment with checkpoints much as it takes a hell of a minute for Forge to switch, but I'm using what I assume most are using. WAI-NSFW-illustrious-SDXL v14. Earlier attempts with Anime Screenshot Merge IL proved a touch too dramatic and probably only fitting for recent anime. It may overpower my experiments with simulating 90s anime as they aired on TV way back then. Still learning as I go. Have yet to seek out a tutorial for dummies, so to speak.
