Valid, there's also many lathe like ideas, but I personally think they were using some other branch of science that we don't have.
This idea that all science is the same is wrong.
If our civilization disappear tomorrow, if there's any humans left afterwards after being plunge into to the literal stone age would have to start again and the developing, the progression of technology is not necessary the same.
In fact it can even be complete different depending of their own inspiration and also aspiration as humans, in this hypothetical future.
Same thing happen in the past.

I not gonna denied your guys idea of geopolymer, but as I said, there's the whole mines with scoops, and even scoop mark in those giant boxes for whatever reason, the consesus on the alternative ancient advance civilization community is that it was to extract possible natural flaws in the stone like micro-fractures.
I myself have no problem on the idea they use a technology to somehow soften the stone to become like a geopolymer.
One of the reasons why I don't believe it's the geopolymer is because of this boreholes, they found literally everywhere in those ruins.
This one on this pic for example is vertical, meaning the stone where the hole is located is above the head of those touring the place. I think this one was on what they call the osiris tomb? I don't recall. You need to checked the aussie site for that.
