>Isn't the Visual Novel the Season 2?
No. The visual novel / webcomic they're working on is just going to present the story of Ep 1 to 8 of the show but in comic format.

If another "season" or continuation was on the table on the future, the dumbest thing they could possibly do is:
>Not involve Liam Vickers (Liam is the whole reason why MD works as well as it does)
>Just continue off from the open ending when there isn't any need to, as we've been left off with Uzi's fate being uncertain and The Solver still hanging around to be a nuisance to its new main host. Continuing off from bere would probably require either a whole new antagonist, or going into The Solver becoming a threat again - which really isn't needed as the show leaves off on letting us imagine what struggles Uzi might face in keeping the Solver contained.
If anything, best thing to do would be a prequel series. Go over The Solver first attacking Earth, then sending Disassembly Drones to begin attacking the outer colonies and preparing them for consumption.
You could make Nori and Yeva the main characters, with the series going into the beginning of the Cabin Fever project as the Humans on Copper 9 observe The Absolute Solver consuming Earth and the other worlds.

>That makes me wonder, all the solver hosts we've seen were female drones so is there the possibility of a male one?
Well, obviously in an out-of-universe context all the Solver hosts are female drones because Liam wants monster girls.
In-universe, Worker Drone gender is just down to how the AI of the drone develops their personality and who they decide to be. There's no physical difference between "male" and "female" Worker Drones beyond the cosmetics and wigs they decide to wear.
It's possible that The Absolute Solver prefers female hosts, since I guess you could call the Solver female but it's mostly referred to as "it".
Bare in mind, Disassembly Drones are (restricted) Solver hosts. So N is a male Solver host. Back before Episode 5, where Uzi overrode Cyn's admin status and became N and V's admin, if N ever ended up "dying" like J in the Pilot his Solver core would activate and the Absolute Solver would use his body to form a Solverpede and collect material.
