If the oligarchs of Russia were more competent and weren't so short sighted with it's wealth, they could've stand toe-to-toe with China and America. Since 1992, they could've rebuilt up their industries like the automotive and computer manufacturing like China. But no. They rebadged euro shitboxes and called them Ladas, without out taking any notes from the european manufactures or building local supply chains. China and America are also extremely corrupt, but both make sure the basics are covered for running a powerful nation. It's honestly sad to watch Russia to have everything they need (pre-2022) to rebuild itself into a powerful semi-compitent nation, but the powers that be there get too greedy and incompetent to make meaningful changes.
