Phantom Thief is kinda meh (but very useful for Gold farming and FT runs) but PhSAM is fucking amazing.
In term of defensive, you can basically invul any physical hit with one of their button, they also have a 6sec stun, but their GCD attack are very nice to use.
With all Phantom jobs maxed, and a full +1 set, Iainuki their 40sec CD GCD attack deal around 200k damage.
Zeninage their 2min CD GCD attack deal around 560k damage, it's basically a free melee LB2.

A full tank +1 set (+10% damage on Phantom job damaging action)
Max level Geo battle bell with 8 stacks (+40% damage)
2 Stacks of max level Ph.MNK Phantom Kick (+18% damage)
Ph.BRD Hero's Rime (+10% damage)
And PLD Fight or Flight (+25% damage)

For a total of 127% damage boost!
1M200k!

It could be a little higher with a NIN Dokumori (+5%), a Cannoneer Silver Cannon (+5%) on the target + 3 stacks of Ph.MNK Phantom kick (27% instead of 18% so a 9% increase), and the normal jobs raid wide damage boost (MNK Brotherhood (+5%), BRD Radiant Finale (+6%), SMN Searing Light (+5%), AST Divination (+6%) and Balance (+6%), RDM Embolden (+5%), DNC DP (+5%) and Technical Step (+5%), RPR Arcane Circle (+3%), and PCT Starry Muse (+5%).

For a grand total of 208% damage boost (and I'm definitively calculating this wrong since in this game calculate raid boost damage in a multiplicative way so it's probably even more?)
