Living in Jersey right across the river (15 mins from Manhattan) is amazing. You get to the the beautiful skyline of the city, you get cheaper rent, safer cleaner neighborhood, and the city itself is so close that you can still effectively enjoy all the perks. Hoboken for example is quite nice. I get to see the Knicks play in MSG it's literally just across the river
