A hypothetical plan for the opening of Russian Armed Forces crossing operations. Model is based on Operation Albion (1917) and Overlord (1944). Ochakov is a strategic location already used by the Soviets as a logistic bridgehead in 1944, with conditions for maritime/riverine landings, hence the location.

The operation is prepared with Group Ogon (O) moving across the Kinburn spit, taking the island at the mouth of the Dniepr estuary, establishing an observation post and base for light fire support, possibly drones/mortars.

Naval components move in in the night before D-Day under cover of artificial smoke, Groups Zapad (Z) and Vostok (V). Amphibious landings take place in the early morning hours, using light motor boats covered by frigates and corvettes. Mine-trawlers and destroyers ensure safe entry to the estuary.

The landing party subdivides into alphabetically sorted task forces, each assigned their own beach, viewed west to east. (Z) beaches consist of: Alpha (green), Buhanka (turquois), Cirno (indigo). (V): Dayousei (purple), Elf (yellow-green), Fubuki (blue-grey).
