as a follow-up, I will say that I think Day of Saggitarius should chronologically be before Endless Eight because, not only does it make more sense for the Computer Club to retaliate much sooner and then just accept things the way they are, but also mainly because it throws Yuki a bone at a point where realistically she should be stadily declining to her lowest. Now sure it can be soul-crushing for you to perk up at something and then nothing ever comes of it and it's back to the usual nothing again but something I think works really well with Sigh and Someday in the Rain is how everyone's side-tracked and focused on Haruhi while Yuki festers in the background. In Sigh sure she's used but she's not as actively important as she is during the match nor does she enjoy anything she's doing. So even just tonally it fits pre-Endless Eight more.
