I rewatched this recently and it was still as good as I remembered. What do you think about ending? At first it made more sense to me that Nero killed Avilio with that gun shot and Nero also eventually dies after getting chased by the Galassia guy following him, giving it a everyone dies tragic end. BUT there was the whole "I'll give Avilio something to live for" and they spent a long time together with no hostility at the end, so he deliberately missed? The footsteps in the sand felt like it was symbolizing it either way so I don't know. I think I like open endings that go both ways.
