Authorities in Estonia are installing new security barriers and gates at the Narva border crossing point.

Gates have already been put up on the bridge linking Narva to Russian territory. Additional barriers are planned for all vehicle entry points, as well as other sections of the Estonian-Russian border.

The upgrades are intended to enhance the overall security of the border checkpoint.
