Losing weight is ultra bad if you're not exercising and letting muscle deteriorate on a caloric deficit.
Bouncing up and down while your body recomposes itself and gains and sheds water weight to build more muscle is fine. I have a lukewarm take that it's actually better than just losing weight.
I've been hovering 204 to 207 for the last month while I started lifting. It's just trading some fat for muscle, but my supplements are heavy on the recovery side.
And the recovery means WATER.
WONDERFUL WATER.
THE MORE WATER WEIGHT YOU HAVE THE BETTER.
