There won't be a next Xbox console exactly.
Microsoft will be turning Xbox into an online store like steam.
Microsoft lose a lot of money making consoles, even more than sony or nintendo.
So profit wise, if you can skip the whole "you have to make a console" part, but still keep the store profits, it's pure profit.
