Since Oda and Toei are allergic to giving non-Lunarian characters any melanin since the timeskip, what One Piece character do you consider “black-coded”? Off the top of my head:

>Gin
>Mr. 5
>Mr. 2
>Marshal D. Teach
>Gedatsu
>Bruno / Blueno
>Kuzan / Aokiji
>Diamond Jozu
>Pica
>Smoothie (and a few more Charlotte family pirates I can’t bother naming)
>Gyogyo (maybe?)

I can’t think of more. No, I’m not trolling nor am I looking to instigate a flame war. I’m just tired of the colored manga and anime giving all characters the same skin tone, or even lightening their skin to such a ridiculous degree. Even Luffy and Franky have a darker skin tone than post-TS Usopp now.
