"Thank you, Master." Ruby curtsied. "I shall not fail you."
"Let's all take it easy and rest for the night." You also decided to clarify.
"Thank the gods." Bertha sighed in relief. "I don't think I would've been able to walk anyways after what you did to me, you stud~" She leaned closer to you and winked.
"It is very generous of you to offer that to us, my love." Ayane bowed.
And with that you spent your time interacting with your slaves; giving them massages, talking with them, and helping them with fixing up the place even more. You didn't have much furniture to spare, but your Lunacy Savantae was enough to help with building a few things to make the place look slightly less empty. You'll have to remind yourself to get some furniture either from a store in Centria or from your own estate.
Dinner was cooked by both your goddess and your warrioress— a hearty feast of chicken, fish, and vegetables— with some cake for dessert. You all gathered around the table, and the usual dinnertime chaos began.
Yumi seemed to be the center of said chaos more often than not.
"I'm telling you!" Yumi nearly shouted. "Skeletons aren't spirits possessing bones!"
"Nu-uh." Bertha said. "My grandpa told me his cousin's best friend saw a bone Jabberwock possessed by a spirit when visiting the Western Isles. Like, if a ghost can posses machines, why can't it also posses bones and corpses and things like that?"
"She's got you on the ropes, Yumi." You chuckled.
"No, she isn't!" Yumi said, then posed with a flourish. "I wield great knowledge of a realm you know nothing of! Through countless ages I traversed the world, unraveling the mysteries of the ethereal spirits like myself!" She cleared her non-existent throat. "In other words: Ghosts can't take over bones or corpses BECAUSE GHOSTS AREN'T UNDEAD!"
"Hey now," You said with a shit eating grin. "No need to get worked up. We're all here to relax and rest, aren't we?"
"I'm not worke-!" Yumi seemed like she was about to say something, but after looking at you for a few seconds her face turned a deeper shade of blue. "Alright... I'll try to calm down."
The entire table was caught off guard by that. You half expected Yumi to get in a yelling match a few seconds later, like she usually did, but she was actually behaving better than usual.
You feel like this might be a milestone of some sort, but only time would tell. Honestly you expected her to fall into her delusional chuuni habits sooner than later. As it stood, you privately considered letting her out of her crystal more often as a reward.
>Let her have more time outside of her crystal. (Yumi will be outside her crystal more often) (Yumi will like this)
>No need to shake things up. (Yumi will almost always be inside the crystal like before) (The status-quo with Yumi will continue)
>(Write-in)
Once more, conversations continued and died off.
"I hope you had a nice date with what's-her-name." Bertha said to you after swallowing a mouthful of food.
