I don't dislike women but I've had enough shitty experiences with female teachers, peers and especially my own mother to know better than to lower my guard around them. I liken it to a kid that gets mauled by a dog and now just avoids dogs altogether. Obviously not every dog is out to get them, but their brain has already made the association that dog = danger. And for good reason too. Women aren't much of a physical threat but if they really want to (and especially if you let them get close enough to sniff out your insecurities) they can absolutely annihilate you emotionally/mentally. Despite me saying all this I don't dislike them, but I am keeping my distance.
