To give them credit, some of them actually seemed to consider it. Looking around like they just realized how dumb not worth it this was. But this lasted only a moment, because as their 'leader' began to rage against you they quickly followed suit.

"You think you can fuck with us!?!?" He raged. "Change of plans; we'll deal with knife-ears later! It's time to show this moron a lesson in respect."

From their hands small balls of fire are formed.

"Feeling scared? We're the best of the best in this school." The 'leader' gloats. He points at you. "It's over!"

A small fireball is thrown at you, struggling to not be fizzled out and somehow slower than you expected it to be.

"Yeah, it's over," You smirked, completely unharmed "For you."

Their confusion is palpable when the magical fire is reflected back towards them at an increased speed.

Again and again those same spells are tried, most ending up flashy and underwhelming.

They start jumping around in a desperate dance to avoid the flames they themselves created.

"Ready to give up?" You said to them, revealing your [Mirror Blade], glowing with power.

"A sword?" Their 'leader' said with a scoff. "So you're just a Warrior!"

"Hey, Richie," One of his underlings said. "I don't think he's a Warrior. He's using Mirror Bla-"

"Shut up! He just got lucky! He's not as powerful as us!" Their 'leader', Richie, ignored any advice from those beneath him.

But they weren't able to scratch you, much less land a hit on you. You'd gotten experience on how to use Mirror Blade against fire attacks as you trained with your fluffy-tailed wife. Ayane was a much more skilled sparring partner than these four, making their magic seem weak in comparison.

It was sloppy at best. And though you weren't an expect in magic, you knew that they were wasting too much mana for no reason.

Though their attacks were underwhelming it gave you a chance to practice and show off, getting rid of how rusty you'd become from a lack of training.

The only actual challenge was making sure that elf girl didn't get hit in the crossfire, as she fell down to the ground after one of the students decided to mix a quickening spell with his fireball; they all stumbled as he fumbled the spell, creating enough recoil to cause a burst of air around them.

"You fucking-" Said the 'leader', only to be interrupted by one of his underling's spells being returned towards him.

They were still determined, which prompted you to slap them around with their own attacks again. Just like you'd done before.

As this battle threatened to become one of attrition, you realized they ultimately weren't much better than those three bandits you once scared away so long ago... You almost wished you'd taken the time to learn some telekinetic spells, or any sort of magic really, to help you really push in the detail.

Richie, clothes somewhat scorched, realized that he and his crew were all exhausted he made the call to stop, since even he knew about mana exhaustion.
