Genuinely what's his problem, other than hack writing? It feels like he already lost in the last cour, he just didn't get the memo. Does he care about Senku or not? He keeps switching back and forth between his lovable autist and psycho villain personas.

This show has real crappy character writing so I guess it's not surprising, but at least the other characters tend to be consistent. Xeno just makes no sense to me. It's like he's doing his absolute best to dig his own grave, and for what?
