I think it's also true that a lot of "lesbian" women are actually bisexual but because they do not have any attractive male prospects are content to have their immediate needs met by a woman. I know this "true" lesbian who has been broken up with by her last 3 girlfriends over the course of 2 years and all three went on to date men despite calling themselves lesbians
